The life of Steve, the budgie :)

Steve, the budgie is nine years old. He will be 10 on September 20, 2025! His partner is candy the budgie she is quite aggressive but not towards Steve. She is five years old turning six years old on September 19, 2025. They have nested 15 times roughly Steve’s favourite food is millet and hard boiled eggs his least favourite things are swinging toys and fruit and vegetables.

Steve the Wise

Nine years strong with feathers of grace,
Steve the budgie holds his place.
A chirp, a song, a soulful gaze,
He's seen it all in budgie days.

He sings in the morning, calm and clear,
A melody soft for all to hear.
Perched like a king on his favorite swing,
Dreaming of millet and what life will bring.

Hard-boiled egg? Oh, what delight!
He pecks and munches, pure budgie bite.
A snack for the strong, for the wise, for the bold,
A treat for a bird with a heart of gold.

Millet, though—that's his true flame,
A single word can spark his name.
He hops, he dances, fluffs with glee,
A golden spray, his jubilee.

Candy may rule with a fiery heart,
But Steve's the soul, the wiser part.
He keeps the peace, he guards the nest,
A loyal mate, giving his best.

So here's to Steve, the gentle star,
A budgie legend near and far.
With Nine bright years behind his wings,
He's earned the right to all the things.
